Cancellation and refunds

How to cancel, and when you get your money back.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer you can cancel a Pro subscription or a pass within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. To do that, email hello@dropradar.co.uk with your order email address and what you bought. You can use the model wording: "I cancel my contract for Drop Radar [Pro monthly / Pro annual / day pass / week pass], bought on [date], under the email [address]." We refund within 14 days of your cancelling, to the card you paid with.

Access straight away, and what you give up

Pro and passes start the moment you pay. Before you pay we ask you to tick a box to say so.

Passes (day and week). The box reads: "I want access straight away. I understand I lose my 14-day right to cancel once the download or access starts." Once your pass starts, the right to cancel it ends, and we confirm that in your confirmation email and on the page you land on after paying: "You asked for immediate access and acknowledged that your 14-day cancellation right ends once access starts."

Subscriptions (monthly and annual). The box reads: "I want my subscription to start straight away. If I cancel within 14 days I will pay for the time I have used." If you cancel within the 14 days, you pay for the part of the period you have already had, worked out on a daily basis from the price you paid, and we refund the rest. A cancel in the first day or two of an annual plan will cost a few pounds, not the whole £99.

Cancelling a subscription at any time

After the first 14 days you can still cancel whenever you like. Use the manage-subscription link in your Stripe receipt email, or email hello@dropradar.co.uk from the address you subscribed with and we will cancel it. You keep Pro to the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not charge you again. Cancelling does not refund the current period, except where a refund is due under the law or this page.

Passes

A pass is a one-off payment. There is nothing to cancel and it does not renew. Buying a second pass while one is running adds the time on.

If something is wrong

If Pro does not work as described, or alerts fail because of a fault on our side, tell us at hello@dropradar.co.uk. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 digital content and services must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. We will repair or replace it, and if we cannot, or we do not do so within a reasonable time, you can have a price reduction or a refund. This applies whether or not you have used your 14-day right. Stock sells out and shops cancel orders. That is the shop's doing and not a fault with the service, though we will always look at a complaint on its merits.

Charged in error

If you were charged twice or for something you did not buy, email us with the Stripe receipt and we will refund what is due.

VAT

We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. The price shown is the total you pay.
